provenance
Found nr. Cerne Abbas, Dorset, April 2015

There were just three examples of the Bristol Second Issue shilling known to Bispham in 1985. One of these is the BM specimen and two in private collections (one the Norweb/Finn specimen). A single example in Bristol Museum, SCBI 19 Bristol and Gloucester, No 179, ex. Lawrence 726, Bt. Seaby 1961 appears to have been missed from this list. Therefore, there are now c. 5 known examples of which just three are available to private collections.
Estimate: £3,000.00 - £5,000.00
