EASTERN EUROPE, Geto-Dacians. AR Serrate Denarius (20mm, 4.53 g, 11h). Obverse type of C. Caecillius Metellus, reverse type of C. Naevius Balbus. After 79 BC. Helmeted head of Roma right; X before / Figure driving quadriga right. Davis A/II (website M117); cf. Crawford 263/1 (for obv.) and 382/1 (for rev.). Near VF, lightly toned.
