EASTERN EUROPE, Geto-Dacians. AR Denarius (20mm, 3.33 g, 12h). Obverse type of C. Hosidius Geta, reverse type of M. Cipius. After 68 BC. Draped bust of Diana right, with quiver over shoulder; III VI[R] behind / Figure driving biga right; fish below. Davis A/III (website M72); cf. Crawford 407/2 (for obv.) and 289/1 (for rev.). VF. Interesting contrast in styles – the obverse being a faithful copy, while the reverse is quite crude.
