PHOENICIA, Ace-Ptolemais. Æ (23mm, 8.81 g, 12h). Dated year 5 of the Caesarean Era (45/4 BC). Laureate head of Zeus right, with palm frond over shoulder; c/m: eagle standing right within circular incuse punch / Tyche standing left on prow of galley, holding aplustre and rudder in right hand, cornucopia and palm in left; L E (date) and monogram to left. Kadman 69; Sofaer 106 (with countermark); cf. HGC 10, 8; DCA 743. Near VF, dark green patina.
