THESSALY, Pelinna. Circa 425-350 BC. Æ Chalkous (14mm, 2.95 g, 12h). Warrior on horseback riding right, wearing conical helmet and striking at fallen enemy to lower right / ΠEΛIN NON downward from upper right and left, warrior left, holding shield and preparing to hurl spear; all within square incuse. Cf. Rogers 427; cf. BCD Thessaly II 530.2. Good VF, glossy dark green patina.
