Celtic, Cantii, uninscribed coinage, (c.50-20 BC), gold Quarter Stater, 1.28g, 'Kentish Horse Brooch' type, blank die with bands, rev. horse right, motif above and torc? with pellets below (ABC 201; VA 158-1; S.44), very light wear to high points otherwise clean and sharp, a lovely strike and a well rounded flan, lustrous extremely fine, very rare.
