Celtic, Dobunni, Corio, (c.20 BC-AD 10), gold Quarter Stater, 1.16g, 'Cor' type, cor across central field, rev. horse right, sun ring and ring-pellet above, animal? below, ring-pellet before (ABC 2051; VA 1039-1; S.394), a couple of flan splits on this, light wear to centres, a quality piece for this issue with a particularly good obverse, usually weak, lustre to reverse, nearly extremely fine, extremely rare.
