Celtic, Trinovantes and Catuvellauni, uninscribed coinage, (c.60-20 BC), silver Unit 0.94g, 'Duck Helmet' type, helmeted head left, duckbill-like motif above, animal before, rev. horse left, feather motif and curved bar above, feather motif below, concentric rings before, dispersed rings in field (ABC 2380; VA-; S.-), light surface granulation and with light weakness around chin, otherwise a fine piece, this reverse very sharp, toned and with lustre, good very fine/extremely fine, excessively rare.
