Celtic, Trinovantes and Catuvellauni, uninscribed coinage, (c.60-20 BC), silver Unit 1.17g, 'Lister's Celtic Head' type, bust right, with corded hair and moustache, small horse, [ring-pellets, and various symbols before] rev. horse right, wing motif and trefoils of pellets above, ring-pellet below, pelletal sun before (ABC 2478; VA 1540-1; S.-), light wear to high points, dark tone in recesses, this metal well preserved, a well presented piece, good very fine, the reverse better, extremely rare.
