Celtic, Trinovantes and Catuvellauni, Cunobelin, (c.10-40 AD), gold Stater, 5.36g, 'Classic' type, garnished corn ear with stalk, ca to left, m[v] to right, rev. horse right, branch above cvno and groundline below (ABC 2798; VA 2027-1; S.288), struck on a smaller module oval flan, small contact mark to horse, essential devices very clear on this, superb surfaces and with some lustre, extremely fine, scarce.
