Celtic, Trinovantes and Catuvellauni, Cunobelin, (c.8-41 AD), gold Quarter Stater, 1.32g, 'Plastic' type, corn ear dividing ca-m[v?], rev. horse right, branch and trefoil of pellets above, cvn below (ABC 2816; VA-; S.294), obverse struck from an old die, contact marks and a couple of deeper scratches, some underlying tone, reverse well centred and with pleasing detail, fine/nearly extremely fine, scarce.
