Celtic, Atrebates and Regni, uninscribed coinage, (c.60-20 BC), gold Stater, 5.36g, 'Selsey Cogwheel' type, wreath with pelleted bar intersecting, cogwheel at terminal, abstract hair and face around with drapery, dispersed annulets, rev. horse right, rider above, wheel below, eye before face, no pellet below rider's hand (ABC 497/494; VA 214-1; S.38), some die clogging, dies also possibly rusty when used, gentle tone, well centred obverse, good very fine, extremely rare.
