Celtic, Atrebates and Regni, uninscribed coinage, (c.60-20 BC), gold Quarter Stater, 1.42g, 'Bognor Cogwheel' type, wreath with pelleted bar intersecting, abstract hair and face around with drapery, rev. horse right with beaded mane, floral sun above, cogwheel below (ABC 509; VA 226-1; S.48), corresponding striking weakness at top of obverse, small striking split, otherwise a pleasing piece on a large flan, slightly toned, good very fine, a prolific issue.
