Celtic, Belgae, uninscribed coinage, (c.60-20 BC), gold Quarter Stater, 1.00g, 'Winchester Cross Wreath' type, two opposing crescents at centre of crossed wreath, symbols in quarters, rev. horse right surrounded by pellets and annulets (ABC 830 - this coin; VA-; S.-), some earth left in situ in recesses, a little patination, quality strike for such a small coin, nearly extremely fine for this, excessively rare.
