CHINA. Shanghai. 5th Far East Games Gold Medal, 1921. EXTREMELY FINE.
32.5 mm; 19.57 gms., 10k gold medal. Hangar bar engraved "R. Crame". Reverse of medal shows faint residual trace of ink description which has long since worn away. The games were held in May and June of 1921 in Shanghai, with the Philippines winning over half of the gold medals awarded with Japan and China winning the remainder. We could not locate any additional information on the games linking the recipient of this medal to a specific event, however with additional research the medal no doubt has a fascinating story to tell about the events that spring. Essentially as made with light wear from handling but no significant damage or abrasions. EXTREMELY FINE.
Estimate: $500.00- $700.00
