CHINA. Order of the Precious Tripod, First Class, ND (Instituted 1929). ALMOST UNCIRCULATED.
Barac-398, 399; Li-pg. 104-105; cf.Werlich-232, 233. Star, Badge, and Sash cased set. Includes an 80 mm Breast Star, gilt silver and enamels, with green tripod on red-bordered blue central medallion. The reverse with a single hinged tunic pin. The Star is numbered with an incuse 159 on the reverse. The 67 mm Sash Badge is similar, but smaller and bifacial. The Sash itself is the original 70 mm x approximately 1.5 M silver and blue silk version with a large rosette. Housed in its original compartmented presentation box. Some toning present. ALMOST UNCIRCULATED.
