(S/M#S17-?) An important unlisted denomination for this 1919 series on the Fu Ching Bank of Shensi. The SCWPM lists just a single denomination for this date being a 50 Tael note. The present Two Taels offering shows the same face and back styling indicating it clearly came from the same series and in all likelihood, other denominations existed as well. Nice detail remains on this borderline Very Fine offering and just some repairs, mostly limited to the margins, are present. An offering that is likely to make our estimate look conservative.
