Hupeh. Empire Tael Year 30 (1904) MS63 PCGS, L&M-180, KM-Y128.2. Small characters. Well struck, and lustrous, with golden-gray patina. Two types of the Tael were struck in 1904, large characters and small characters. There is no record of exactly how many were struck of each type. Nice Mint State examples of either type are quite rare, and very desirable.
