Republic Hung-hsien Dollar ND (1916) MS63 NGC, L&M-942, K-663, KM-Y332. Struck for the inauguration of Yuan Shih-kai as Emperor Hung Hsien. A stunning example of the grade. Both sides are sharply struck, with the obverse fully brilliant, and showing the slightest hint of russet peripheral toning. The reverse is fully lustrous beneath light russet patina. Both sides have only a few tiny contact marks with splendid overall eye-appeal.
