French Colony silver Perforated Cancelled Trial Piastre 1931 AU, Paris mint, KM-Unl., Lec-306.19. This trial has 2 square, 2 semi-circular and 2 round cancellation perforations. The '9' countermark is positioned in front of the neck. From the second series of 8 perforated cancelled trial strikes known to exist. This specimen is the only one to have the unique number '9' countermark. An extremely rare and historic offering.Ex. R. Taylor Collection
