Meiji Trade Dollar Year 9 (1876) Gin Left MS62 PCGS, KM-Y28b.1, JNDA 01-12A. PCGS has this piece listed as G/R (Gin Right) on the holder, but it is Gin Left. An exceptional example of this conditionally very rare type. The strike is superb, and the bright luster glistens beneath a hint of golden patina. A few light marks are noted on the reverse, but the overall appearance is exceptional for the grade. We doubt you will see a finer Trade Dollar with Gin Mark.
