Rama IV copper Pattern 1/4 Baht (Salu'ng) ND (1860) MS65 Brown NGC, as KM-Pn6, but this piece does not have the two stars outside the Chakra denoting 1/4 Baht. This piece is identical to the example sold in Spink-Taisei's 1988 sale of the Irving Goodman Thailand Collection on Thailand, Lot 49. Obv. Crown with rays, between two umbrellas, with floral background. Rev. Elephant standing left within Chakra. The strike is slightly soft around the periphery and the pristine surfaces glisten with iridescent luster. Very rare.
Estimate: 2500-3500 USD
