Rama V Lot of Three "First Tour of Europe" Medals RS116 (1897) EF, Comprised of the following: 50mm bronze medal; 50mm silver medal; and 32.50mm silver medal with suspension loop. By Henri Auguste Jules Patey. An interesting group of medals, struck to commemorate the King's first tour of Europe, featuring the bust of Rama V, with six-line inscription and date. Each of these original-striking medals is lightly cleaned and housed in its original red Monnaie de Paris box that is topped with a Garuda. Scarce and most pleasing as such.
