ISLANDS off CARIA, Rhodos. Kamiros. Circa 500-480 BC. AR Stater (16.5mm, 11.65 g). Fig leaf / Rectangular incuse divided lengthwise by a thick band. HGC 6, 1382; SNG von Aulock 2779; SNG Keckman 317; Asyut 699; Boston MFA 2029; Dewing 2396. Good VF, dark gray tone with slight iridescence around the leaf, areas of granularity, spot of encrustation on reverse.
