MEXICO, Segunda Imperio Mexicano. Maximilian I von Habsburg. 1864-1867. Lot of two (2) AR Pesos. Both coins: Ciudad de México (Mexico City) mint. Dated 1866 Mo. Bare head right / Crowned coat-of-arms over scepter and sword crossed in saltire; all with griffin supporters. BW 230.2; Grove 5442; KM 388.1. EF, the second with a counterstamped head of Napoléon III of France (perhaps a modern fantasy). Both housed in custom Capital Plastics holder.
