Struck circa 985-991. + ÆÐELRÆD REX ΛNCLOX, diademed and draped bust right; scepter before / + BУRHTRIC M–O PER, manus Dei descending from clouds; flanked by barred Λ ω above pellets. SCBI 7 (Copenhagen), 1696; BMC –; Hild. 3953; North 768; SCBC 1146. EF, rich colorful tone, hairline edge crack at 3 o'clock. Very rare type at Wareham.
