ITALY, Papale (Stato pontificio). Alexander VIII. 1689-1691. AV Quadrupla (33mm, 13.34 g, 1h). Rome mint. Dually dated RY 1 and 1690 (in Roman numerals). Bust right, wearing camauro, mozetta, and stole / Yoked team of oxen pulling plow right; wheat plants to left and right; in exergue, coat-of-arms surmounted by galero. CNI XVI 23; Muntoni 3; Berman 2166; KM A532; Friedberg 166. Near EF, marks, traces of mount marks, surfaces slightly polished. Rare.
