MODERN REPLICAS. Lot of two (2) later cast copies of Roman Æ medallions. Includes: Trajan. Æ sestertius on a medallic flan (36.69 g). Laureate bust right, slight drapery / Trajan on horseback right, spearing fallen foe. Cf. RIC II 534 for type // Marcus Aurelius. Æ cast medallion, late 19th-early 20th century (38.80 g). Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust right / Victory in quadriga left. Cf. Gnecchi 57 for type. Fine, the Trajan with severe edge knocks, both with some porosity. LOT SOLD AS IS, NO RETURNS. Two (2) coins in lot.
