QING: Qian Long, 1736-1795, AE 10 cash (3.25g), Kucha mint, Xinjiang Province, H-22.424, ka above, shi below on reverse, boo kuche in Manchu either side, Very Good to Fine, RR, ex Wéiduolìya Collection. This rare coin has the mint name of Kucha in Manchu, but the name of Kashgar in Chinese. These were not cast during the reign of Qian Long, but were cast in Kucha to be used in the Kashgar region likely during the 1890s. This is the first example of this type we have handled.
