Watch List notes:

MUGHAL: Jahangir, 1605-1628, AR sawai rupee (14.26g), Lahore, AH1019 year 5, KM-159.1, PML-1098/99, with the month Bahman, magnificent strike, with fancy outer border, fabulous EF, RRR, ex Paul Stevens Collection. Type KM-159.1 was struck at Lahore AH1019-1020, always with the month as well as date & regnal year, with a new rhyming couplet for each month. The Bahman couplet translates as "In the month of Bahman the gold of Lahore became like the shining moon / In the reign of Shah Nur al-Din Jahangir, son of Shah Akbar." A similar specimen, same month & date, but only cleaned EF, sold in Stephen Album Auction 15, Lot 974, for $3,200.
