BAHAWALPUR: Sadiq Muhammad II, 1809-1826, AR rupee (10.90g), Bahawalpur, year one (ahad), KM-263. A-C3142, in the name of Mahmud Shah Durrani, without Hijri date, but undoubtedly struck during AH1239, choice EF, ex Paul Stevens Collection. After a hiatus of 15 years, the mint of Bahawalpur once again began striking silver coinage in AH1239 and continued in the name of the Mahmud Shah Durrani until AH1251, after which the anonymous dar al-islam coinage was introduced, struck 1251-1285.
