QAMARNAGAR: AR rupee (11.34g), Qamarnagar, year 10 (sic), KM--, in the name of Ahmad Shah Bahadur, unusual variety without the word shah between ahmad and bahadur, small scratch on reverse, VF to EF, RR, ex Paul Stevens Collection. Qamarnagar was one of the Nizam feudatories of Hyderabad, and is now known as Kurnool. A similar piece sold in Stephen Album Auction 22, Lot 863, for $650.
