KINGDOM OF JERUSALEM: AV bezant (3.57g), Ma-3, imitating a dinar of the Fatimid Imam al-'Amir, Misr mint, dated AH495, fine calligraphy and therefore one of the earliest issues of the Crusader mint, believed to have been located at Ghazza, superb strike, choice EF to About Unc, RR. An inferior specimen, only VF, sold at Baldwin's Auction 43, Lot 2434, for the equivalent of $594 (October 2005).
