GHORID: Mu'izz al-Din Muhammad, 1171-1206, AV broad dinar (10.42g), [Ghazna], AH599, A-1761, citing both Mu'izz al-Din and his brother Ghiyath al-Din, special issue of the finest quality on unusually broad flan (36mm), without mint name, fully legible legends, choice EF, RRR, ex William F. Spengler Collection. This piece was one of four pieces of this style citing the two brothers, possibly the finest of the four, included in a small hoard of about 30-35 pieces that were marketed in about 1998 - the others were nearly all of the later types citing only Mu'izz al-Din.
