Moche Jar from Peru, ca. 400 - 700 AD. A fine Moche jar from Peru, ca. 400 - 700 AD. It is 7-1/4" high and features four animated felines encircling the chamber. Each of these is depicted with large fangs in an open mouth. Intact, with good paint remnants and strong mineral deposits. Ex Cohen estate. Value range: $250 - $400.
