Asserting a small mintage figure of just 20,000 pieces, this key date from the Victoria 50 Cent series presents pewter surfaces with darker tone that touches the peripheral elements. Overall, the devices retain a pleasing amount of definition and the surrounding fields express moderate evidence of handling. Even so, few examples of this year have been encountered in the marketplace over the last handful of years, and as a whole, those that have been offered are seen in lesser grades than the present selection.
