Ferdinand VI gold 8 Escudos 1759 So-J AU53 NGC, Santiago mint, KM12, Onza-657. The usual variety with the king's name spelled out as "FERDINANDUS". Well preserved with contained high-point wear and partial underlying luster. A well above average representative of this two-year subtype featuring the king's name spelled out and the golden fleece correctly placed on the reverse, no Mint State specimens of which are currently listed in NGC's population report.
