Republic Sun Yat-sen "Memento" Dollar ND (1927) AU55 NGC, L&M-58, KM-Y318a.1, error variety with multiple legend errors, MEMENTO misspelled MENENTO, and CHINA misspelled CIIINA. L&M lists the date on this issue as 1928. I would assume they are more probably correct. Light gray toning, with luster remaining and a different portrait for Sun Yat-sen than we see on most of the MEMENTO types.Ex. Robinson Collection.
