Saxe-Weimar. Wilhelm IV Taler 1662 MS62 NGC, KM84.1, Dav-7550. One-year type struck to commemorate the death of Wilhlem IV featuring incredibly stylistic design motifs. The obverse depicts an obelisk with ribbons and a three-line inscription at the base and the reverse illustration displays two arms extending from the clouds, tying four arrows together below a crown. Highly desirable in this well-preserved, mint-state designation, with attractive cabinet tone and plenty of mint luster throughout. Listed for $4,500 in MS60 in the SCWC, this current selection is every bit as worthy of that price-point. Krause catalog price(s) for this item: $650 in VF, $1250 in EF.

Estimate: 2500-3000 USD
