James I gold Crown ND (1612-13) AU55 NGC, Tower mintmark, Fr-236, S-2625, . NGC has incorrectly listed the denomination as Unite, but it is a Crown. Obv. Crowned bust of James I right. Rev. Crowned arms dividing I-R (Iacobus Rex). Nice, broad flan, with normal soft strike in some areas. On close examination, The obverse has a number of small peck marks.From the RichLyn Collection
