George III gold 1/2 Sovereign 1818 MS63 NGC, Royal mint, KM673, S-3786. Attractive, with aged, golden patination that gleams with an appreciable amount of mint bloom and pleasing design elements that are impressively bold. The semi-reflective fields contain only the occasional graze; however, there appears to be a small die crack across the King's cheek, as well as faint evidence of clashed dies above the reverse crown. From a short-lived series, and highly desirable in this choice Mint-State classification.
