MACEDON. Under Roman Rule. Aesillas, Quaestor (ca. 95-65 BC). AR tetradrachm (32mm, 16.74 gm, 12h). Diademed head of Alexander the Great right, with horn of ammon, ΜΑΚΕΔΟΝΩΝΝ, Θ behind / AESILLAS Q in two lines above, money chest, club and chair, all within wreath. SNG Ashmolean 3305. Struck on a broad flan in good metal, and displaying considerable luster. NGC AU 4/5 - 4/5.
