Diademed head of deified Alexander III right, with horn of Ammon / ΒΑΣΙΛΕΩΣ ΛΥΣΙΜΑΧOΥ, Athena enthroned left, holding Nike and spear in right hand and resting left elbow on shield; in inner field left, lion's head over enthroned cult image; on throne, monogram. Thompson, 257. Müller 119. A superb example, struck from dies of wonderful style and well centered on a broad, round flan, with considerable luster. NGC MS 5/5 - 4/5, Fine Style.
