Saxe-Weimar-Eisenach. Karl Alexander gold 20 Mark 1892-A MS64 NGC, Berlin mint, KM213, J-282. Mintage: 5,000. An important date and rare as a type, with pinpoint detail in the design and exceptionally flashy mint bloom remaining in the fields. The finest example graded by NGC and very comparable to the finest pieces we have seen in European sales; from images, the most comparable piece we have seen was a specimen graded "Prachtexemplar" that was sold by Kunker for 6,500 Euros in their March 2015 auction.
