Victoria Proof Trade Dollar 1897-B PR65 NGC, Bombay mint, KM-T5. A lovely and rare proof trade dollar, with multi-hued iridescent toning throughout. The single finest of two graded by NGC, with none having been graded by PCGS. From our research, we have been able to find just three other auction results for 1897-B proof trade dollars over the last decade. The highest price any of them achieve was a PR64 specimen sold by St. James (St. James 26, March 2014, lot 81) for 16,000 GBP, or $26,676 at the time. A rare opportunity to acquire a Gem Proof trade dollar!
