Danzig. Sigismund III gold Ducat 1593 MS62 PCGS, Philipp Kluewer as mintmaster, Fr-10, Gum-1397, Dutkowski/Suchanek-174/VIa. Handsomely toned over lightly handled surfaces, the almost smug expression on the face of Sigismund beautifully rendered and remarkably preserved. This example is the only piece certified in Mint State by either PCGS or NGC. Superb and rare thus.
