Catherine II Poltina (1/2 Rouble) 1791 CПБ-ЯA MS61 NGC, St. Petersburg mint, KM-C66c, Uzd-1203, Diakov-672, Bitkin-316. Exceptionally rare in grades of mint state, this wonderful piece exhibits beautiful luster and a hint of darker toning around the peripheries. For completeness, the typical die rust is present, along with a small flaw on the edging around 11h, though in no way do these detract from this coin's brilliance. An absolutely stunning minor from late in Catherine's reign.
