Struck to commemorate the wedding of Grand Duke Alexander and Princess Maria of Hesse-Darmstadt. Obv. Conjoined busts of Grand Duke Alexander and Maria, left. Rev. Crowned monograms between standing Cupid and Psycho, with date below, Well struck, with light argent-gray patina over fully mirror-like fields, with a touch of russet toning around the peripheries. Very rare, with a reported mintage of only 950 pieces.
