SELEUKID EMPIRE. Seleukos I Nikator. 312-281 BC. AR Tetradrachm (25mm, 16.84 g, 1h). Seleukeia on the Tigris mint II. Struck circa 296/5-281 BC. Laureate head of Zeus right / Athena, brandishing spear, shield on left arm, in quadriga of elephants right; anchor above, [control marks in exergue?]. Cf. SC 130; HGC 9, 18a. VF, toned, off center on reverse, area of flat strike.
