THRACE, Perinthus. Septimius Severus. AD 193-211. Æ Medallion (36mm, 30.30 g, 6h). Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust right / Hercules standing right, holding club, lion's skin and apples of the Hesperides; to right, dead serpent Ladon hanging from tree. Cf. Schönert-Geiss,Perinthos 526-7 (one of the Hesperides to right of tree); cf. Varbanov 207-8 (same). Good Fine, porous.
